How It Works

Step 01

Share Your Link

Sign up or log in to get your unique referral link. Share it anywhere — text it, post it, email it. Your link is in your Account page under the Referrals tab.

Step 02

Friend Signs Up

When someone clicks your link and creates a BreakAuctions account, they're permanently tagged as your referral. The link sets a 30-day cookie, so they don't need to sign up immediately.

Step 03

Friend Spends $25

Your friend enters any auction and their total purchases reach at least $100 CAD. It doesn't have to be one purchase — it adds up across all their orders.

Step 04

You Get $25 in Credits

$25 is instantly added to your account balance. Use it to enter any auction — or stack credits from multiple referrals for a bigger entry. Credits are applied at checkout.

The Fine Print

We keep it simple and honest. Here are the rules:

One credit per referred friend

Each person you refer can earn you one $25 credit, regardless of how much they spend after qualifying.

Spend threshold is cumulative

Your friend doesn't have to spend $100 in one order — their purchases add up across all their orders.

No self-referrals

You can't refer yourself with a second account. Our system blocks this automatically.

Refunds affect credits

If your friend gets a refund that drops their total spend below $100, your referral credit is revoked. If they spend again later, it's re-awarded.

All prices are in CAD

The $25 threshold and $25 credit are in Canadian dollars. We're proudly Canadian.

No limit on referrals

Refer 5 friends, earn $125. Refer 100 friends, earn $2,500. There's no cap.

Quick Example

You share your link with 3 friends. Each one signs up and buys a few spots:

Friend 1: Spends $124.75 -> You earn $25

Friend 2: Spends $49.90 -> Not yet ($50.10 to go)

Friend 3: Spends $199.80 -> You earn $25

You now have $50.00 in credits. Friend 2 buys more spots next week and hits $100 total — now you have $75.00. Use it on any auction.
